Privacy policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
This document is a standard template prepared for The Imaginations. It is to be reviewed by the owner (and, ideally, a legal adviser) before it is relied on.
This policy explains how The Imaginations (“we”) collects and uses personal data when you visit this website, send us an enquiry, or use AirTikal as a client. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under them.
1. What we collect
- Enquiries: your name, email, phone number, company, the service you are interested in, your message, and the IP address the enquiry came from (to prevent abuse).
- Client accounts: names, email addresses and phone numbers of your team members, billing details (business name, address, tax identifiers where given), and records of payments, wallet top-ups, deliveries and usage.
- Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) kept for security and troubleshooting.
This marketing website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
2. Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal (based on your consent when you send it).
- To provide the Services, run your account, deliver content, keep the audit trail, bill you and issue invoices (to perform our contract with you).
- To keep the Services secure, prevent fraud and comply with law, including tax and accounting rules.
3. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Services (for example hosting, email and payment processors), under confidentiality, or when the law requires it. Payment card details are handled by the payment gateway and are never stored by us.
4. Storage and retention
Data is stored on secured servers. Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months unless you become a client. Account, billing and delivery records are kept for as long as your account is active and afterwards for as long as tax, accounting or dispute-resolution needs require (usually up to 8 years).
5. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, or nominate someone to exercise your rights. Write to info@theimaginations.com; we respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
